Three things follow.
The DM Act, 2005 is the syllabus. Not general studies, not current affairs — the statutory powers granted to the authority and the legal framework of the Act. Every interview tests it.
The Sendai Framework and the NDMP are mandatory for advisory roles. These are the international and national frameworks the work sits inside.
Situation Reaction questions are practical. “Urban flooding or chemical leaks” — with “logical, resource-optimized solutions.” Not theory.

But note what it means practically: an SDMA does recruit Operators, Supervisors and Data Entry Operators, and rank lists are published — a transparent, merit-based process. For a candidate seeking entry into disaster management without a Master’s, this is the door.
